Author Guidelines

Papers should not exceed 12 pages, single spaced, 12 point arial font size. This includes all figures, tables and references.

Abstract (Must be provided; the abstract should not more than 100 words)

Your abstract is simply a short, standalone summary of the work or paper that others can use as an overview. An abstract describes what you do in your essay, whether it’s a scientific experiment or a literary analysis paper. It should help your reader understand the paper and help people searching for this paper decide whether it suits their purposes prior to reading. To write an abstract, finish your paper first, then type a summary that identifies the purpose, problem, methods, results, and conclusion of your work. After you get the details down, all that's left is to format it correctly.

Relevance to innovation (Must be provided; should not more than 100 words)

Clearly state what is innovative in your paper: is it a new product, method or process? Is it in public use and/or commercialized? Does it have social impact? Is it scalable?

Keywords: Up to Five keywords, in alphabetical order

1. Introduction

Start with a couple of sentences that introduce your topic to your reader. You do not have to give too much detailed information; save that for the body of your paper. Make these sentences as interesting as you can. Through them, you can hook a reader and get them very interested in the line of thinking you are going to develop in your project (Author’s last name, year).

It works upon the principle of introducing the topic of the paper and setting it into a broad context, gradually narrowing down to a research problem, thesis and hypothesis. A good introduction explains how you mean to solve the research problem, and creates ‘leads’ to make the reader want to delve further into your work.

2. Method (provide your own headings for the body of the paper)

Except for the heading in the first page, the headings provided in this template are only for demonstration purposes. Use your own headings. The template is used to format your paper and style the text. All margins, column widths, line spaces, and text fonts are prescribed. ‘Please do not alter them. Please do not revise any of the current designations’ (Author’s last name, year, p. 10).

2.1 Population and sample

Finally, complete content and organizational editing before formatting. Please take note of the following items when proofreading spelling and grammar: Define abbreviations and acronyms the first time they are used in the text, even after they have been defined in the abstract. Do not use abbreviations in the title or heads unless they are unavoidable.

3. Discussion

Table heads should appear above the tables, and figure captions should be below the figures.  As much as possible minimize the use of tables.
